As a dentist, I feel that I am able to evaluate dental work as well as anyone. A patient of mine was in an automobile accident recently, and as a result broke several of her front teeth. Dr. Steven Koutnik  restored her teeth with the most beautiful "lifelike" restorations I have ever seen. Our dental hygienist could not even tell which teeth had been "filled" because the restorations looked so natural. Congratulations to Dr. Koutnik for doing such a great job!

Since childhood I have seen various dental specialists and have had multiple dental procedures performed due to breakage of two adult teeth. When I became a patient of Dr. Steven Koutnik a few years back while he was still practicing in Shorewood, I knew from the first office visit that I was in the right hands. From day one, Dr. Koutnik extended genuine care and concern for me as a person and what I was going through. Having extensive dental work done is never easy for anyone, but his kindness and attention to detail made the process that much easier. Throughout all procedures he continuously checked in and calmly asked if I was doing o.k. He explained all aspects of the work he was doing, not only before but during as well.

When he moved his practice to Wauwatosa, my entire family followed him there. My husband and children are now Dr. Koutnik's patients for dental care as well. The entire staff is exceptionally welcoming and warm; we all feel very comfortable "going to the dentist."  As a mom, it is very important my children feel confident going to the dentist and do not get nervous. My children actually look forward to their dental visits and have a lot to tell us about what they talked about and how it all went.

I am very confident in Dr. Koutnik's skill as a dental practitioner! His kind and patient presence goes a long way in my book and I am beyond thankful he was able to help me. From the very first day I met him, he gave me so much hope and continuously fed that hope every time I had work done. Very nice people, very skilled - I had a 20 year old crown removed, decay underneath fixed, and a new one installed. All without discomfort (nothing even close to pain).

Along with my husband we chose Dr. Koutnik as our new dentist and we could not be happier with our choice. The hygienist was wonderful and gave us both some tips about brushing etc. that we did not know.
